Scheduling Appointments

If you have questions or are interested in scheduling an appointment, please text or call me at 469-955-6579, or email me at heidi@counselorheidi.com. If you have not heard back from me within 24-hours, please call or email again in the event that your message was not received.

Payment

I accept payment in the form of cash, checks, all major credit cards, and PayPal.

I also work with many healthcare networks. Your insurance may be accepted. Please call me to verify that I am a listed provider for your insurance plan.

Cancellations

If you are unable to keep an appointment, please call me. After our first session, notification by phone 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time is required. You will be charged for any missed appointments without 24-hour notice.

Emergencies *

* In the event of an emergency, please call 911 immediately or go to a local emergency room when necessary and appropriate. It is your responsibility to seek the appropriate resources in emergency situations.

Client Privacy

The law protects the relationship between a client and a therapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.

Exceptions include:

• Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse, which I am required by law to report to the appropriate authorities immediately.
• If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.
• If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in insuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.
